PU Is all Set to Host One of India’s Prominent Legal Minds, Attorney-General for India, for an Exclusive Session with the Aspiring Lawyers

Vadodara is all set to welcome a prominent legal luminary and the respected Attorney-General for India who is scheduled to deliver an interactive talk session with Parul University’s law students and the University’s stakeholders. In yet another such enlightening PUTalks session, the Faculty of Law at Parul University will be hosting Dr. R. Venkataramani, the currently serving Attorney-General for India, for a noteworthy legal discourse with the students. With an illustrious career as an Indian constitutional lawyer and senior advocate in the Supreme Court of India, Mr. Venkataramani brings a wealth of legal expertise and experience to share with the young and aspiring law students at Parul University. The event, scheduled for January 7, 2024, aims to address the theme of India’s legal system and constitutional values by shining a light on key issues prevalent in the legal fabric of India.

As a prominent mind in the Indian legal community, Shri. Venkataramani has been at the forefront of representing various clients, ranging from central and state governments to universities and public sector entities, in both the Supreme Court and High Court. Notably, Mr. Venkataramani served as the receiver in the complex Amrapali case and played a pivotal role in the recent Hijab Row case in the Supreme Court. Furthermore, his appearances as counsel for the Supreme Court in cases concerning the service conditions of court employees underline his deep involvement in shaping the legal landscape of the country.
