About B.Sc. Anaesthesia and Critical Care

The Bachelors Degree in Anesthesia and Critical Care is 3 year undergraduate degree program which seeks to develop the specialised technical skills relating to the administering of anaesthesia. The experts who are trained in this field play a crucial role in the medical procedure to cater for the administration of the right volumes of anaesthesia through the right procedure. The Faculty of Paramedical and Health Sciences, focuses in the development and training of experts who are well versed with response mechanisms in crucial care procedures. The curriculum is strategically designed to provide the students with an enriching practical exposure, which prepares them for their real time practise. It goes on to instruct students to handle various pressure moments and effectively handle accurate volumes and measurements in surgical and critical care cases. As a way to enhance their practical hands on training, the University is attached to a 750 bedded multi specialty hospital with a specific anaesthesia team and surgery department which serves the purpose of enhancing the practical skillsets of the students. Our expert team of doctors and anaesthetists shape the practical understanding and provide the students a guiding learning experience in the modern industrial practices. Beyond the scope of the academics, the program goes on to shape the professional skills and interpersonal abilities of the students which helps them in their career.
